CMU PRSSA HEADLINES:
Join a Committee!
CMU PRSSA has several committees to offer to its members. Each committee is an opportunity to become more involved in PRSSA, take on a leadership role, meet new people, and to have fun!
Social Committee: Katie Alexander, alexa1kl@cmich.edu
The member networking committee is for members who are interested in planning, promoting, and organizing social events for the PRSSA chapter. We will be planning a major social each month and other smaller events througout the month. Join the member neetworking committee to have fun and encourage chapter unity through social events. Our goal is to motivate the members to participate and socialize with people in PRSSA they do not already know. The committee also plans the end of the year banquet.
Fundraising Committee: Chrissy Kunde, kunde1cm@cmich.edu
Fundraising is fantastic! Open to all members, the fundraising committee meets weekly to brainstorm, plan and implement all types of fundraisers to benefit PRSSA. Members of this committee can expect to research, plan, work and present fundraisers to members of PRSSA.
Professional Development Committee: Nicole Barnes, barne1nd@cmich.edu
The professional development committee works on developing and getting the members of PRSSA involved in activities related to their professional futures in public relations. We brainstorm ideas on speakers, agency tours, workshops, and networking events. One of the highlights that the committee produces for the organization is the internship book, which is a great aid to the members in seeking out the required internship for our major.The committee also plans the spring PRSSA Spring Conference.

Help plan the Parent's Brunch! Be able to show your family/friends your accomplishments and have a hand in helping get it set-up.
